Job Description

Your attributes:

  • Education as a certified physiotherapist (SRK recognition*)

  • Committed and independent

  • Respectful communication and team spirit

  • Value good digital documentation

  • Proficient in spoken and written German

  • Good English skills (for reading specialist literature)

  • Willingness to undergo additional training and preferably already possess a specialization in a specific area of physiotherapy.

    Advantageous:

  • Scientific or clinical Master's degree / CAS



As a physiotherapist, you are responsible for promoting and restoring the physical health and well-being of your patients.

Your duties include:

  • Assessment of patients: You conduct examinations to assess the condition of your patients and understand their needs.

  • Development of therapy plans: Based on the assessment results, you create individualized therapy plans to improve the functionality and mobility of your patients.

  • Implementation of therapies: You administer various physiotherapeutic techniques, such as massage, exercise therapy, electrotherapy, and other treatments to promote recovery.

  • Counseling and guidance: You advise your patients on exercises and behaviors that support their recovery, as well as on preventive measures to avoid injuries.

  • Documentation: Accurate documentation of treatments and patients' progress is essential to ensure the quality of care and monitor the course of treatment.

  • Collaboration in a team: You work closely with other healthcare professionals such as doctors, occupational therapists, and nurses to ensure comprehensive patient care.


Overall, as a physiotherapist, you play a vital role in improving the quality of life and functionality of your patients through targeted therapeutic interventions.



*According to Swiss Red Cross you need:

  • a proof of the content of your education (Physiotherapy), with a detailed list of theoretical and practical training content in hours/weeks or with the indication of ECTS. The proof must be issued in your name and signed by your school or university.

  • Certificates of completion of previous education/secondary school graduation.

  • Your job-related further education/training that you have completed most recently.

  • Your professional license/permit (= photocopy of your permission to practice your profession, issued by the competent authority in your country of education).

  • a copy of Passport or ID 

  • Letter of Good Standing

  • Language skills German B2


    You need the original and a translation in english.

    Please note that a bachelor diploma in physiotherapy is mandatory. Your professional qualification will be compared with this Swiss qualification "Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy".
